2020 Holiday Collection Schedule

That department is closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and that affects when solid waste and recycling is collected at the curb. Otherwise, both garbage and recycling pickup will occur on all other holidays.Pickup day for Bayshore Townhouses is Monday of each week. - January 1, 2024 - New Year's Day: CLOSED
(Bayshore pickup will be delayed until Tuesday, January 2, 2024) - January 15 - Martin Luther King Day: Open and business as usual
- February 19 - President's Day: Open and business as usual
- May 27 - Memorial Day: Open and business as usual
- July 4 - Independence Day: Open and business as usual
- September 2 - Labor Day: Open and business as usual
- November 11 - Veteran's Day: Open and business as usual
- November 28 - Thanksgiving Day: CLOSED (does not affect Bayshore)
- November 29 - Day After Thanksgiving: Open and business as usual
- December 25 - Christmas Day: Open and business as usual
- January 1, 2025 - New Year's Day: Open and business as usual
Remember, Bayshore's collection days are only Mondays.
From the city's website: "The city of Clearwater provides yard waste and bulk item collections on your regular collection day. Yard waste includes the collection of tree branches, leaves, brush, and other types of natural waste. Bulk collection includes large household items, such as washers, dryers, sofas, furniture, and other large, bulky items." (Emphasis mine.)
